Art, and The Grolier. Each was spectacular, but going to Radio City to see the Rocketes and having dinner aſterwards at the Russian Tea Room were true highlights. Walking around Macy’s was also a treat as was seeing the tree at Rockefeller Center.


The big news for Elizabeth Pearce is that she is moving into a new condo in


Boynton Beach, Florida. The new experience will include more space with a dedicated yoga room and a lovely, quieter neighborhood. She continues to see classmates, Moira Gomez Madonia ’76 and Lesley Bynum Swartz ’87 on a regular basis. She also wants everyone to know that The Women’s Freedom Fund has been fully endowed and is awaiting its next deserving recipient.


Kathryne Jennings and her husband, Paul Phillips, setled in Half Moon Bay, California,


in 2017. Kathy is the Billie Bennet Achilles Director of Vocal Studies and a senior lecturer at Stanford University, while Paul is an associate professor and the director of orchestral studies. Their daughters, Joanna and Alanna, pursue film careers in Los Angeles. Kathy and Paul love their current positions, with no retirement plans in sight. Every now and then, Kathy still sings in public!

Donna Volney Michaux and John are excited that their daughter, Savanna, got married on Jan. 27, 2024, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Aſterwards, Savanna and her husband spent two weeks scuba diving while honeymooning in the Maldives … Donna wishes she could have been there with them! HaHa :)


Holly Pavlika owes her career path to Mr. George Shealy who was head of the art department. Mr. Shealy told stories about New York City which led Holly to move to New York aſter graduation. Mr. Shealy would visit New York every year and meet Holly at the Society of Illustrators. Many years later, Mr. Shealy passed away and Holly received a call from his wife, Dr. Joyce Shealy, who told

In early November 2023, Betsy Sharpe Shields, Robin Patric, Gay Rodgers and


Susan Luck held their own mini-reunion in Charlote. They toured Charlote, ate a lot, laughed a lot, and ignored how long ago they graduated! Highlights of the trip were visits to Serenity Gardens, the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and the Rural Hill Sheepdog Trials, which they liked so much that they plan to meet up again next year in Virginia at the National Sheepdog Competition Finals.


Wendi Diamond resides in the Asheville, North Carolina, area where


she continues to work in her art studio and volunteer much of her time in her community gardens. Many days are spent trail hiking right out of her back door. She will celebrate 30 years of marriage to Josh this year! They have begun their first ever home build on Couch Mountain, hoping to complete the build in early 2025. Wendi celebrated their daughter Oli’s graduation from college in December. Oli has gone into education and is an accomplished ceramicist.

Mary Anne Lee Saag and Christine Lynne Wink MacKay went on a trip to Ireland in


June and had fun seeing the country and all its offerings. They’re looking forward to seeing everyone at Reunion 2024 for their 40th!


Maiden and her family have lived in Northern Virginia for 10 years. She is currently enjoying her second chapter career as a preschool instructional aide. Carolyn and her husband Chris will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in March 2024. Their twin daughters, Sydney and Olivia, will turn 13 this year.


Paige “Duffy” Lewis joined the Leadership Institute in August as a training coordinator,


focusing on activist and campaign training throughout the country.
