Classmates Anne Query Worrell ’55, Ann McIver Williamson ’52, and Mary Lois Ridings
Bynum ’55 got together December 2, 2023, in Burlington, North Carolina, to celebrate the 90th birthday of Betty Neale Beal ’52.
Mitzi Folk acknowledges that this is a special year for the class of 1956. Most of
this class will turn 90 years old. That is something to celebrate. Mitzi thanks Queens for helping to prepare everyone for their journey through life. Happy Birthday, Class!
On Dec. 30, 2023, Linda Reed Atkins ’59, Frances DeArmon Evans ’59, and Adelaide Anderson Davis ’61 sat together and watched the Queens vs. Duke basketball game on TV.
Six days before Christmas 2023, Linder Carter Tucker moved to the senior

community, Westminster Towers, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She is enjoying her new apartment, new friends and participating in the many activities they offer. Linder has lived in Rock Hill since 1980 and already knew many people living there. She would love for her Queens classmates to visit her if they’re in the area.

Country Club in Coral Gables, Florida, in January for Sunday brunch. Their mothers were friends since college as well from Florida State College for Women.
Aſter graduation, Bonnie Chappell Dove worked for Eastern Airlines for
10 years, traveled around the world, married her college sweetheart, had three children and then went back to school to get her master’s in clinical psychology. She won the Mecklenburg Mental Health Association's Mental

Health Professional of the Year award, served as president of the Parent Teacher Association at Cabarrus Academy, and president of the women's organization at the Isles Yacht Club in Punta Gorda, Florida. She now has 4+3/4 grandchildren living nearby in Charlote.

Cathy Condon Nail took her fourth personal cruise of 2023 on Celebrity Millennium from Mumbai to Singapore with a quick pre-cruise visit to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. That was one of the most thrilling days of her traveling life.

2024 has been a milestone year for Connie Gill Rogers. She and her husband Al sold their home in South Park and moved into the Continuing Care Retirement Community, Windsor Run, on Nov. 7, 2023. They are so happy in their new home. The apartment is new and lovely, the people in the community are just delightful, and the staff are exceptional. They have found the right spot in their lives’ continuing journey.

The Class of 1967 is embarking on a unique academic scholarship in the name of their class. The scholarship commitee, comprised of Rosie Graham, Robin Hawkins, Eloise Mason, Fran Mathay and Dee Stancil, will continue to remind their classmates how to contribute within the 2024 year to launch this scholarship in perpetuity for future students. During their 60th reunion in 2027, they will hopefully have the
