Welcome back to the Ticonderoga series. T e previous part discussed completing the support structures for the third deck and the initial stages for building the turtle deck. T e fi nished model (Photo
T e turtle deck infrastructure (Photo 326) is ready to add its ceiling, constituting the turtle deck. T e walls and ceiling support structures were built around its wooden jig. (Photo 327) T e walls were laminations incorporating slots for the glazing. T e ceiling supports needed to conform to the camber required so more beams were cut and prepared.
