T e fi nal area of focus in the center of the ship was the boat crane and the two lifeboats. I decided to put tarpaulins over the boats to match my reference photographs. T erefore, I glued toothpicks inside the boats, attached photo-etched rudders, and then made tissue and white glue covers to go over the toothpicks. (Figure 40) Meanwhile, I added more than twenty photo-etched parts to the boat crane to make it look like it does in real life.
