WOMEN IN BUSINESS IN ASSOCIATION WITH:
WOMEN OF SUBSTANCE
Who are the influential women in the county’s businesses world? That was the big question we asked our readers.
In our annual ‘Women in Business’ feature we have turned the spotlight on Lancashire’s big hitters. The result is a powerful list of impressive leaders making a real difference, not only in Lancashire but further afield.
They come from a wide range of sectors and
industries as well as the worlds of education and local government. Through their actions, achievements and words, these are women who mean business.
Once again, the response to our call for nominations was tremendous. Our independent judging panel then came together to help us put together this representative ‘power list’.
We hope the stories of those we have chosen

“But like a lot of things in Lancashire we don’t shout about their achievements as much as we should. So we are delighted to acknowledge these impressive, influential women.”
