a challenge. Tom says: “Anyone can do marketing or design or digital because the tools have become widely available.

“But the businesses we work with appreciate that skills and experience are important to wanting a build campaign.

“We are fortunate to be located next to Fraser House in Lancaster, which is a digital hub, so we benefit from a community of people co-working.”

Tom enjoys running and going to gym as it ‘helps to switch off from work and clear your head. It is good for me’.

Travel is another hobby and he also has a big trainer collection.

So, what advice would Tom have for himself as a 20-year-old? “Trust your instincts, go faster and be braver. There are a few things we could have done to have grown more quickly. It is just about confidence and taking a few more risks.

“It is interesting that when you set up a business at a young age and you don’t have a mortgage you take risks because you have less to lose.

“But as soon as you get older and start to think about the impact of cost and investment you start to second guess things.

“Also, you should not be frightened of things not working out. You can always correct your course.”
