▲ Beever and Struthers has achieved Planet Mark Business Certification for the fifth consecutive year, generating more than £1.3m in social value contributions. The accountancy firm, which has an office in Blackburn, had its social value contribution analysed by Planet Mark’s experts, who reported a Social Value per employee of £5,538, which represents seven per cent of its turnover.


▲ Altham-based Readstone Construction has completed a £3.7m project at Fort Vale Engineering in Simonstone on time and on budget. The new production facility will be used as an assembly hall and despatch area by the company. Fort Vale makes valves and fittings for the road transport industry and distributes its products around the world.
