Private client solicitor Courtney Leach has joined Vincents Solicitors in Poulton. Courtney is an experienced specialist in wills, probate, trusts, lasting power of attorney, inheritance tax advice and court of protection work.
Megan Simpson has returned to Hampton by Hilton Blackburn as sales manager. She began her hospitality career at the hotel four years ago as a guest services associate before moving to Stanley House Hotel
and Spa as a sales co-ordinator. She now returns to Hampton by Hilton in her new role.
Roger Hunter is the new chief executive of electric vehicle charge point management platform FUUSE. He brings extensive senior leadership experience across the EV charging sector, including as global vice president, E-Mobility, at Shell, where he headed up Shell Recharge Solutions. Founder and current chief executive officer Michael Gibson will step down on September 1 following a decade leading the business.
Chorley based tiling and flooring preparation firm Kelmore has further strengthened its management team with two key appointments in new roles, alongside an internal promotion. Joining the business are Marta Cybula as operations manager and Anthony Cristoforo as QC/QA Manager. Tracy Bilham-Wills has been promoted to senior production supervisor.
Marianne Hesketh has been appointed deputy chief executive and director of community and wellbeing at Preston City Council. She joins the authority from Wyre Council, where she served as director of communities since 2016.
The chancellor of Edge Hill University has been named as the new chair of Arts Council England. Dawn Airey, who has been the ceremonial head of the university since 2023, has more than 30 years of experience in the media industry including holding leadership roles at Sky, ITV and Channel 5.
Harrison Drury has appointed solicitors Matthew Mainds and Vicky Beaumont to strengthen its commercial property team in Preston. They will advise clients including property developers, housebuilders and construction companies, as well as private and public sector organisations.

Declan Grant has been appointed an executive advisor to the board at Burnley headquartered aerospace company Velocity Composites as it continues to expand its presence in the North American market.
