THE HOME OF Last year’s winners CALLING THE BEST OF WYRE


The most prestigious awards ceremony in Wyre is back. This year’s Wyre Business Awards will once again celebrate excellence across a diverse and wide range of sectors.


Organised by Wyre Council, the awards are now open for entries and the winners will be announced at a ceremony at Marine Hall in Fleetwood on Tuesday November 12.


Lancashire Business View has been announced as media partner for this year’s awards.


With 15 categories to choose from, the awards


shine a spotlight on the businesses in the borough that have excelled in a variety of categories.


An awards spokesperson said: “Each year the awards get bigger and better and this year having Lancashire Business View on board means we can promote the fantastic businesses in Wyre to an even larger audience than ever before.”

IT’S GOOD TO TALK AND WALK!


Lancashire’s dramatic countryside was the setting for a special gathering of the business leaders from across the county.


The first Lancashire Leaders ‘Netwalk’ was organised by Freshwalks in partnership with Lancashire Business View.


Lancashire Business View events It was a chance for those invited to find


headspace, recharge and reconnect with fellow professionals in the great outdoors


The group met in Downham for the 10km walk, which started and ended at The Assheton Arms.


Freshwalks share a passion for the great outdoors and the group is on a mission to get the business people walking and talking more.

The event was jointly hosted by Lancashire Business View managing director Stephen Bolton and sales director Joanne Hindley, along with Amy Lancaster-Hall, Bowker’s group marketing manager, and her team.


The day included a chance to get behind the wheel of some special cars and enjoy a networking lunch at Everything Retreat in Mellor.
