SUPPORT SYSTEM IS A ‘ONE-STOP’ SHOP


Lancaster has been busy putting its new support system in place with the creation of its ‘one-stop-shop’ for businesses, which is now up and running.


A full calendar of outreach events is also in place, with a number of new initiatives scheduled for launch in the new year.

“It will also help to shape plans to bridge gaps as well as play a pivotal role in influencing the direction of UKSPF funded projects in year three, ensuring they meets the evolving needs of our vibrant business community.”


Rossendale’s business advisor is also in place and working to support companies in the borough. He is also offering and delivering a one-stop-shop for all business enquiries.


Tariq Ali has more than 25 years’ experience in the field and as well as monthly sessions he is now working with businesses on a one-to-one basis, assisting and supporting them with their needs and plugging them into the right funding pots where needed.


Tariq said: “The response from the business community has been fantastic. It’s all sectors and all sizes, from pre-start to growth. The kind of support they want is really varied.
