NLTG APPRENTICESHIPS: MAKING YOUR SUCCESS OUR PRIORITY
FIT FOR PURPOSE
Health & Fitness Education (HFE) is the UK’s leading fitness industry training provider, specialising in high-quality health fitness and nutrition training.
Operating from its head office at Buckshaw Village in Chorley, HFE is dedicated to not only training fitness professionals nationwide, but to developing its own team and new talent through traineeships and apprenticeships.
Whether your company is looking to expand and evolve, adapt in the face of new business challenges or create a workforce that is future fit, there’s no doubt that apprenticeships are a driving force for change.
Business Benefits
Apprenticeships are an effective way to create a qualified workforce, adding to company productivity and success. They are structured workplace training programmes delivering both job specific and soft skills, such as problem solving, leadership and adaptability.
Not just for young employees starting out on the career ladder, apprenticeships can also support progression planning and continuing professional development, through the upskilling of existing employees of any age who already have experience in the organisation and the potential to go further.
Apprenticeships can deliver real impact, whether you’re looking to
• grow, motivate and retain your existing employee talent pool
• increase productivity
• address skills shortages and improve the retention of key staff
• support the professional development of employees throughout your company, including delivery specialists and support teams
• save on recruitment costs and ‘grow your own talent’ by hiring an apprentice

“NLTG supported us throughout the recruitment process and when we interviewed Emily Smith, it was clear from day one that she was the right candidate. Emily completed her traineeship and is now a customer service representative apprentice, primarily supporting HFE students with course administration and navigating our online platform.
“We’d absolutely recommend NLTG to any company thinking about apprenticeships and training; whether it be with recruitment, onboarding, training delivery or pastoral support, they have been fantastic.”

Lee Cain, HFE managing director, says: “We contacted NLTG regarding the recruitment and training of a young person for our customer service team. After discussing our options, we decided to offer an eight-week traineeship initially, which would then lead onto a Customer Service Apprenticeship, both delivered by NLTG.
