At Delta Plus UK, we’re a Blackburn- based subsidiary part of Delta Plus Group, a family-owned French business with a simple but important mission: to keep women and men around the world safe while they work.
To this effort, we design and manufacture complete personal and collective protection products for professionals worldwide.
We operate 46 subsidiaries in 30 countries and distribute our products in over 110 countries.
Our global offer covers the five main families of PPE and is available in more than 1,100 models, divided into more than 7,200 references.
Our products are designed around three key concepts: protection, comfort and design. Each of our solutions is challenged by our research and development experts. This allows us to offer more advanced and differentiating solutions.
Because we manufacture 85 per cent of our own products, through our 18 production facilities around the world, we can stand behind the quality of our services.
Combined with our global and integrated logistics organisation, we are able to offer a benchmark service in the industry.
And while we are part of a global business, we are very much a Lancashire company. We have been based in Blackburn for a decade, and before that in Rawtenstall when in 2006 LH Safety was acquired by the Delta Plus Group. LH Safety began life as footwear manufacturer Lambert Howarth Safety, part of the Lambert Howarth Group which dates back to 1877, meaning we have decades of pedigree behind us.
Whether at home in the red rose county, or further afield, all of our 3,500 employees are committed to the satisfaction of our customers, both distributors and users, who are supported by our specialist teams on a daily basis.
Our methodology clearly resonates: we have achieved 14 per cent growth per year since 2016. This organic growth is complemented by external growth: eight acquisitions have been finalised since 2019.

SENIOR APPOINTMENT SET SIGHTS ON GROWTH
Delta Plus has appointed Darwen-born Jon Holt to its senior management team.
The industry professional has more than two decades of experience in the PPE sector working for the likes of Sorsky, Euro Packaging, Cutting Edge Services and Elis UK.
In his new role, he heads up the UK and Ireland operation, overseeing sales, finance, warehouse, HR, supply chain and customer service.
Jon’s role will be to grow the business to become a major player in PPE sector in the UK and Ireland.
