Did you know that all 16-18 year olds are entitled to three years’ worth of funding to gain further education qualifications?
Petroc is offering a range of one-year courses specifically designed to make the most of this third year of funding. These courses are suitable for anyone who has completed their 2 year Level 3 qualification* and would like to gain additional skills and qualifications.
Some students can't wait to head off to university, start work, or take a gap year when they are 18, but for others, an extra year at home whilst further developing their skills, is a welcome opportunity.
We have a wide range of different courses available - some will further enhance the skills you have already gained in a specific area, whilst others will give you the opportunity to develop a life or employability skills. Whichever course you choose, it will provide you with more UCAS points to help you get to the university of your choice or add more kudos to your CV if you decide to head straight into full-time employment or want to work while you travel. Petroc is here to help you develop the broadest range of skills possible to help you go further in life.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: * If you are 18 or under as of 31 August 2020 no tuition or exam fees apply.
If you are 19+ as of 31 August 2020 and undertaking either a full Level 2 or 3 qualification, there might be funding available for you to study dependent on eligibility. If you are wishing to pursue a Level 3 or Level 4 qualification there might be an opportunity to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan if not eligible for full funding. Employed or self-employed learners who earn less than £17,004.00 annual gross salary who are unable to pay towards the cost of their fees (and subject to prior attainment) may be eligible to be fully funded for a Level 2 course regardless of the number of hours you work.
