"I chose to study at Petroc because it was the college that hosted the course that I really wanted to do. I really enjoyed the class discussions, the unique learning style and the practical elements of the course. One of the highlights of the course was carrying out the Armed Response Police scenarios that we did with Devon and Cornwall Police at Middlemore in Exeter. I also enjoy the way in which we are treated like adults and the good learning environment that the college has to offer.


When I leave Petroc, I hope to apply for a Level 4 Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship programme with the long- term goal of becoming a Police Officer with Devon and Cornwall Police. My advice to anyone wanting to go to college is to enjoy every day and use the vital skills that you learn for later in life. Put your heart in everything that you do and get involved!"
