This T-level combines classroom theory, practical learning and a minimum 45-day industry placement with an employer to make sure you gain real workplace experience. It has been developed in collaboration with employers in the construction industry so that the content will meet the needs of industry and prepare you for skilled employment, an apprenticeship or higher-level study, including university.


During the programme, you will learn the core knowledge that underpins each industry as well as developing skills that will allow you to enter skilled employment within a specific occupation.


The programme will cover components required in the general construction industry such as Health and Safety, Sustainability, Building Technology and Project Management and will then focus on the following specific topics relating to Design, Surveying and Planning:

This course is ideal if you want to progress directly to employment within the construction industry, to a construction apprenticeship or to further studies in construction.

T-levels combine core knowledge and skills needed to work in your chosen industry sector with a technical qualification, and a substantial work placement of at least 45 working days.


The Digital Production, Design and Development T-level has been designed by experts in the digital field combining academic study with hands-on industrial experience in the workplace. It is specifically intended to address the skills gap identified by employers and will leave you with excellent skills and qualifications for employment or progression to undergraduate study.
