During your time at college, we will be supporting you with making your decisions about what you want to do when you leave us. Whether that’s going into work, moving onto the next level of your course or moving on to higher education, we will provide you with the tools, information and support you need to make the right decision for your future.
PERSONAL development AWARD
As part of your Study Programme, you will be supported in developing six key areas of personal and employability behaviours to prepare you for a successful future in the working world.
As you complete various stages of your course, you will be encouraged to collect awards. These awards provide an excellent opportunity for you to track your own progress, identify any areas that require further attention, and focus on your own personal development, as well as provide evidence of your strengths to employers and universities.
HIGHER EDUCATION Petroc will always support and encourage progression onto higher education wherever possible.
Your tutors and our Advice & Guidance Team will provide you with practical support and guidance throughout your time at college, including opportunities to visit universities and UCAS fairs, as well as support with writing UCAS applications.
We offer a fantastic range of higher education courses at our North and Mid Devon campuses including Foundation Degrees, Honours Degrees and Higher Apprenticeships meaning you don’t have to move away from the area to get a degree.
