Ski & Golf Resort Hotel Riml HOCHGURGL, AUSTRIA

Hotel Riml, Tyrol’s highest ski in/ski out four-star superior hotel, is located in southwestern Austria in Hochgurgl, and is more than 2,200m above sea level. The luxury hotel has 100 suites and rooms with spectacular views, a spa, in-house ski rental, fine cuisine, free garage spaces for all guests and much more. The adults-only resort welcomes guests from ages 14 up. Obergurgl/Hochgurgl is a popular destination for

travellers keen on winter sports, and Hotel Riml is ideally located within the ski resort. Guests can ski pretty much from the moment they leave the hotel’s front door. After a day in the mountains, the Hotel Riml offers the perfect conditions in which to wind down, with an indoor pool, fitness centre, sauna facility, massage treatments and beauty specialists. The rooftop Sky Relax Area’s outdoor whirlpool

bath, sauna and saltwater steam room, offers magnificent views of the Alps and pure relaxation. A trip to the sauna, aroma steam bath, herbal bath or saunarium can soothe tired muscles after a day on the slopes. In the panoramic indoor pool, guests can float amid beautiful natural surroundings.

At Hotel Riml, each day begins with a rich and

healthy breakfast buffet paired with freshly brewed coffee and a view of the surrounding Ötztal Alps. In the afternoon, a buffet with hearty dishes and sweet delicacies awaits. Come evening, guests can dine on a five-course menu. The fantastic sun terrace, with a view of the

Tyrolean Mountains, promises guests both guaranteed space and relaxation in the winter sun. As a special highlight, a ‘Music & Pleasure Afternoon’ takes place twice a week. Here, the kitchen crew dish up delights such as oysters, barbecue and Kaiserschmarrn (a sweet, scrambled pancake). Finally, golfers are welcome to use the indoor golf

area (with four simulators) and practise their swing at the largest hotel indoor golf facility in Europe. Can cocktails, golf and snow go together? At Hotel Riml, the in-house golf facility is right inside in the Blue Birdie Bar, and there’s also a cosy place to finish off the day. Make yourself comfortable next to the fireplace and enjoy the evening at 2,200 metres.

DON’T MISS The Sky Relax Area on the roof has magnificent views of the Alps, as well as an outdoor whirlpool bath and saunas
