Villa Cecilia Trabia SICILY, ITALY
Travel to a regal sanctuary near Castle Lanza Branciforte of Trabia. Guests can escape to a unique seafront villa, which sits on land once owned by the Prince Lanza di Trabia. Villa Cecilia Trabia is the largest luxury private villa in western Sicily, is available for exclusive rental and is often booked for wedding parties and retreats. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea
from almost all corners of the villa, where they’ll find fruit orchards and a koi pond with white lotuses and other tropical flowers. This magnificent property, which is surrounded by beautiful palm- filled botanical gardens, is the ideal setting for large groups. Up to 22 guests can either celebrate special events together or enjoy a secluded cultural, health or sport retreat. Special features of the villa include three outdoor
pools, which are artfully set into the gardens. The pools are connected by delicate waterfalls, with the water flowing from the uppermost level main pool, which is 65ft x 26ft. There’s a large whirlpool bath where up to 16 guests can relax together all year around, as the water can be heated up to 40C.
Finally, there’s also a smaller pool, ideal for children. By night, the villa transforms — the illuminated
pools become framed by the deep green grounds under a glittering Mediterranean sky. It’s the perfect setting for a night-time swim. Guests can choose from three independent
types of accommodation, each offering superlative amenities and a daily maid’s service. The main house offers an elegant home for up to 10 guests, while the three smaller cottages offer a glimpse of the cerulean sea just 165 feet away. The friendly staff ensure that every stay is a
unique experience for guests. An outdoor kitchen complete with barbecue offers the perfect setting to enjoy Sicilian dishes prepared by the in-house chef in front of guests. Meals can be enjoyed by the pool or the many terraces and sheltered gazebos. To enable guests to connect with Sicily’s culture,
history and nature, the villa offers a variety of local services, including the chartering of a speedboat with a skipper and a wide choice of private guided tours of historical marvels in Palermo, Cefalù and to six UNESCO cultural and natural sites.
DON’T MISS Enjoy a night-time swim in the in glassy waters of the main pool while gazing at the starry sky
