Villa Resorts MALDIVES
The leading Maldivian hotel group formerly known as Villa Hotels & Resorts has unveiled a next-generation rebranding of its resorts. Working in partnership with Luxury Branding hospitality consultancy, Villa Resorts has transformed its entire company. This includes refreshed culinary propositions, led by chef Conrad Gallagher, whose previous restaurant was awarded a Michelin star. The first of the new resort concepts launched this year, with the Maldives’ Paradise Island rebranding as Villa Nautica and Sun Island becoming Villa Park. Situated on the North Malé Atoll, Villa Nautica
celebrates the glitz of quayside life. Ideal for the cosmopolitan traveller , this group want to embrace and experience the seafarer lifestyle with a glamorous twist. Exuding tranquillity and exclusivity, Villa Nautica’s polished environment is stylish and refined. The collection of villas and suites all offer elegant spaces that blend with oceanside living. All offer beach or ocean access, while many have private pools or tubs and private sundecks with spectacular views. Villa Park, previously Sun Island, is one of the largest island resorts in the Maldives and located in
the South Ari Atoll Marine Protected Area, where whale sharks can be seen all year round. Teeming with extraordinary experiences for adventurers young and old, Villa Park is for those who want to let their hair down, be playful and socialise. With spectacular azure lagoons and dense jungle at its core, Villa Park is a spectacular island ready to be explored. Renowned for its range of unique activities and dining options, the hotel offers watersports, diving, ocean excursions, private dining, whale shark trips and private jungle ‘kawa’ baths, among other experiences. For the more active guest, there are Raving Workouts, Villa park’s new fitness centre. In 2024, Villa Haven will open as the group’s
luxury flagship. Anchored in nature, this area transcends the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, with 68 sea-facing villas — all with private pools — creating an intimate and secluded island experience. Guests will be taken on a culinary journey courtesy of restaurants that have six international cuisines, while the Araamu Spa can cater to every wellness desire.
