Since humans first walked on the Moon in 1969, we have made many more leaps into the universe. Recently, the Voyager spacecraft travelled further into space than anyone or anything in history. And there is still so much of our universe to explore.
In Earth and Space we will think about how our universe began. We will learn about the planets, suns, moons and stars in our galaxy, the Milky Way.
The way we live can damage our planet. We will look at how we can protect Earth for future generations by making different choices about the types of energy we use, how we look after the land, how we trade and how we get rid of our rubbish.
