Course number: 29 EYFS KS1 Course overview


To be able to release excellence in others, teachers need self-awareness and oceans of energy! This lively and engaging course enables delegates to refl ect upon their work-life balance, self-esteem and positivity.


Jenny will cover how a brief understanding of neuroscience, emotional intelligence and mindfulness can help you to support children and adults. Through the Golden Moments and Five Wells initiatives, we learn how to look after ourselves in a more holistic way, once again, coming back to bringing balance into our lives.


We’ll discuss the importance of fun and playfulness as well as how staff can support each other. You’ll go away from the course with a wealth of ideas to take straight back to school, giving the best possible start to children in your care.


Learning outcomes


✓ Take the opportunity to refl ect on your own energy levels and to develop a personal care plan.


✓ Discover how to enhance self-esteem and morale of all staff , and to check if adults are using positive language with each other and children.


✓ Explore the importance of developing emotionally safe classrooms and playgrounds.


✓ Learn how to set up eff ective listening systems within schools: the key to mental health and wellbeing.
