This support of aspiring engineers will include significant engagement with EngineeringUK’s The Big Bang Fair 2025, where the Institute will exhibit to thousands of young visitors, and sponsor an award as part of the Big Bang Competition, which commits to ‘encourage, recognise, reward, and celebrate young people’s achievements in STEM’. More details on the work of EngineeringUK, its STEM and EDI engagement, and the Big Bang Fair, will appear in November’s Training and Development section.

IHEEM

launches new HEJ design

As part of the Institute’s commitment to serving its membership through brand development and modernisation, IHEEM is pleased to launch the redesigned Health Estate Journal. The new look and feel mirrors the clean, modern branding recently seen across wider Institute resources such as Annual Reports and Pocket Guides, and the redevelopment of the Head Office. The design changes span the front cover and journal branding, and a new format and style across the Contents, features, and Institute News pages. IHEEM CEO, Pete Sellars, said: “At Head Office we are taking great strides to ensure that IHEEM’s visual identity develops in line with the forward-thinking and dynamic outlook. As our membership continues to expand, we are proud to deliver a ‘refreshed’ design of the HEJ that we hope will offer a more engaging and accessible reader experience. As always, we welcome feedback, and look forward to hearing members’ views.”
