Procedure: Mix until homogeneous the Phase A. Mix until homogeneous the Phase B Add phase B to phase A with mixing. Heat up to 70°C. Mix until homogeneous the Phase C, then heat it at 70°C. Add phase C to phase A+B with mixing. Cool down the formulation with mixing up to 40°C Add Phase D. Cool down until 25°C with gentle mixing.
Pigment dispersions: Melt Sunflower Seed Wax up to 90°C. After the wax is fully melted, add Beeswax and Akofine R individually while mixing at 150rpm. Once the first three materials are fully melted, lower heat to 80°C. Add remaining phase A ingredients while increasing speed to 200rpm. Once all phase A materials are fully melted, add phase B Silica while mixing at 250rpm. Maintain temperature at 75-80°C. Increase mixing speed to 315 rpm and maintain temperature at 75-80°C. Add phase C pigment dispersions to main vessel. Mix for 5-7 minutes or until materials are fully dispersed and no pigment streaks appear on sides of mixing vessel. Once pigments are fully dispersed, lower mixing speed to 250rpm. Add tocopherol and mix for 1 minute. Maintain temperature to approximately 75°C. Fill in respective lipstick bullet moulds at approximately 75°C. Remove from bullet moulds and add to chosen lipstick packaging when cool to touch. Properties: pH: 0.0 - 0.0

Procedure: Mix Phase A and heat up to 65°C while stirring. Mix Phase B separately and heat to 80°C. Mix Phase A into B under an overhead stirrer. Homogenize for 3 minutes. Cool down to < 40 °C and add Phase C individually under an overhead stirrer. ECTOinOIL should be added drop for drop. Homogenize once more. Adjust the pH to 5.5 with citric acid.
