From Reelsoft’s vantage point, sitting close to the gameplay layer through our platform, there is clear progress, but also a missed opportunity. Operators are increasingly using real-time mechanics at a campaign level. But the deeper potential lies inside the game itself.
Games are already capable of creating real-time engagement loops. Features such as session-based rewards or mechanics like daily drops can increase motivation and extend play in a natural way. This is something we consistently see when working with both studios building games and operators bringing them to market.
The challenge is that studios and operators often work separately. Studios build the experience. Operators own the casino floor they are displayed on and they control the campaigns given to players. Bridging that gap is where the real opportunity lies, but it requires closer collaboration.
