Certus Technologies SARL
Certus Technologies SARL was founded by Jean-Louis Fiorucci and the Tranchant family. Jean-Louis had previously been the founder of Micro Clever Consulting a systems company based in Nice, that was acquired by Bally Technologies in 2003 and is still marketed by them today.
The company was created following a strategic partnership with French Gaming Operators, Groupe Tranchant who had identified the need to establish a new standard of interacting with, and marketing to, their customers.
The company focused on deploying new technologies used in the digital world and enhancing them with our decades of gaming experience.
The partnership with Groupe Tranchant afforded Certus Technologies the luxury to fully develop and deploy The Connected Casino before going to market in February 2017.
Kurt Quartier, born in Ostend, Belgium, developed a passion for the gaming business in 1990 when joining Sun City, in South Africa.
Having held several management positions with Sun International, he moved to Greece in 1995 to join Casino Magic, a US based operator, to open the first privately owned casino resort in Greece. Here he became Operations Manager, responsible for both the Hotel and Casino side of the business.

In 1997, he embarked on a 14-year career with
IGT, which saw him become VP – International Casino Markets, responsible for the overall business in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia. After a few years consulting to Premier Operators and Suppliers, Kurt joined Certus Technologies in 2016 as Chief Commercial Officer to prepare the launch of The Connected Casino™.
The new venture sees him working together with Certus Technologies Co-Founder and CTO Jean-Louis Fiorucci, a longtime friend and fellow gaming industry veteran.
