iGaming has become the third pillar of our business, alongside land-based and systemsKonami Online Interactive allows us to bring trusted casino

entertainment to a broader digital audience while supporting omnichannel opportunities like Bomberman, which launches both on Solstice and online. John Eary, Vice President of Marketing.

Further ahead, Konami previewed China Shores Link, an evolution of one of its most successful titles. Te new version adds three companion panda characters, each associated with unique free game bonuses that can combine into a triple feature. “China Shores is an iconic part of Konami’s heritage,” Lazcano noted. “Bringing it forward on Solstice allows us to celebrate that legacy while introducing new, modern mechanics.”

A NEW DIGITAL IDENTITY: KONAMI ONLINE INTERACTIVE

Complementing its land-based developments, G2E 2025 also marked the formal debut of Konami Online Interactive, the dedicated brand for Konami Gaming’s iGaming business.

“In recent months we’ve expanded significantly in regulated markets, including launches in Mexico and Europe,” Lazcano said. “We wanted to establish a clear identity for our iGaming division, and that required approval from our parent company in Japan to create this new branded presence.”

Te division’s proprietary remote gaming server (RGS) integrates with major back-end systems to distribute Konami’s proven casino titles, such as China Shores, African Diamond, and Rawhide, to online operators worldwide. Optimised for HTML5, these games are available across mobile and desktop platforms.

“iGaming has become the third pillar of our business, alongside land- based and systems,” said John Eary, Vice President of Marketing. “Konami Online Interactive allows us to bring trusted casino entertainment to a broader digital audience while supporting omnichannel opportunities like Bomberman, which launches both on Solstice and online.”

SYNKROS TECHNOLOGY AND OPERATIONAL INNOVATION

Te third component of Konami’s G2E presence was SYNKROS, the company’s casino management system, which continues to evolve

with new features aimed at operational efficiency and guest engagement.

One of the most discussed innovations on the booth was SYNKROS Progressive Management (SPM), a flexible jackpot configuration tool that enables casino operators to design and deploy their own linked or mystery progressives across the floor without additional hardware. “It’s essentially a white-label progressive system,” Lazcano explained. “Casinos can create custom jackpots and target them by player tier, location, or volatility preference.”

Also showcased was SYNKROS Drink System, a digital beverage ordering solution that allows patrons to request drinks directly from their gaming machine, with orders displayed and managed in real time by staff via the back-end console. Te tool streamlines workflow while improving player service.

Te Konetic mobile application rounds out the systems portfolio. It equips floor staff with real-time operational data, including dispatch notifications, player information, and progressive management tools, all accessible via mobile device. “Konetic is about empowering casino employees with the same level of data visibility and speed that SYNKROS provides to the back office,” Lazcano added.

LOOKING FORWARD

Te G2E 2025 exhibition encapsulated Konami’s strategic direction: a unified approach that strengthens its established land-based and systems businesses while accelerating its expansion in iGaming. “Te fundamentals of what we do, games, systems, and digital, remain the same,” Lazcano concluded. “What’s changed is how deeply we’re integrating them.”

With Solstice positioned as the new flagship for-sale cabinet, a broad pipeline of supporting content, and the launch of Konami Online Interactive, the company has entered a new chapter of product and brand development designed to reinforce its global market presence.
