Konami Gaming: New Dawn
Solstice debuts, Bomberman arrives, and a new digital brand takes shape
Expanding the three pillars of its business: land-based, systems, and iGaming, Konami
introduced new hardware, game series, and an integrated omni-channel strategy at G2E 2025. Senior Director of Marketing, Tashina Lazcano, guided G3 through a line-up that balanced the familiar with the future.
At this year’s Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, Konami Gaming presented its most ambitious product portfolio in recent years, introducing the new Solstice cabinet series, unveiling Konami Online Interactive as the identity for its growing iGaming division, and debuting fresh content across all three pillars of its business: land- based gaming, casino management systems, and digital entertainment.
“Konami has always been built on innovation that supports the fundamentals of the casino industry,” said Tashina Lazcano, Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at Konami Gaming, during a guided tour of the booth. “Tis year, that commitment extends across our land-based, systems, and iGaming segments – each represented strongly on the floor.”
SOLSTICE: NEW HARDWARE AND CONTENT DIRECTION
Headlining Konami’s showcase, the Solstice cabinet represents the next evolution of the company’s for-sale hardware line. Te Solstice 49C model features a float-mounted 49-inch C-curve display in 4K Ultra High Definition, enhanced spatial audio, and an advanced lighting array stretching from topper to button deck. Te lighting interacts dynamically with each spin, win, and feature, providing real-time visual feedback that complements the on-screen play.
“Te response from customers to Solstice has been fantastic,” Lazcano said. “Operators are excited about the hardware’s design and the strength of the launch library that supports it.”

Among the cabinet’s debut titles are All Aboard Diamond, Red Fortune Rail, and Bomberman Blast, each highlighting a different facet of Konami’s design approach.
All Aboard Diamond marks the first-ever brand extension of Konami’s internationally recognised All Aboard game series, introducing new repeat-win and multiplier mechanics within its popular hold-and-spin feature. Two base titles, Bootstrap Bounty and Miner’s Haul, offer distinct free game experiences while maintaining the recognisable train theme that made the series a global success.
Red Fortune Rail, an original creation, adds an Asian-inspired aesthetic and introduces a nested hold-and-spin bonus called the Golden Fortune Rail feature. Tis mechanic layers multipliers and secondary reel bonuses for additional engagement. “Red Fortune Rail will reach initial locations before the end of this year,” Lazcano confirmed. “It gives operators a new take on the ‘train game’ concept that Konami helped establish several years ago.”
Konami’s partnership with its digital entertainment division has also brought one of its most iconic video game franchises to the casino floor for the first time. Bomberman Blast and Bomberman Boom translate the energy and playfulness of the long-running video game series into the slot environment. Players use bombs to unlock coin prizes within a hold-and-spin feature, mirroring the classic mechanics of the original console title. “Tis is the very first licensed IP to launch on Solstice,” said Lazcano. “It’s an especially meaningful release for us and for many players who grew up with this character.”
