Bill to ban betting advertising in Peru Legislation
Te Peruvian Congress has received a bill that would enable a total advertising ban on gambling. If passed, the law would also prohibit
promotions offering free chips or other incentives to bet, as well as commercial partnerships with betting brands at public or private events. No type of advertising would be allowed, even if the company operates legally. As stated in Article 1 of the law: “Te purpose of
this law is to prohibit the advertising, promotion, and sponsorship of gambling in all its modalities, in order to protect public health, prevent addictive behaviours, and reduce their negative impact on the population. To this end, measures are established that prohibit the advertising of these products and services in media outlets, public spaces, and digital platforms.” Article 2 would impose a complete prohibition

Internet Sports International has rolled out its sports betting kiosks at a second Canton Gaming retail venue in Maryland, extending the companies’ partnership following a successful launch earlier this year. Operator News William Hill exits markets
William Hill will no longer accept bets from Angola, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Kenya, Mozambique, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Somalia and Vietnam. Customers in those countries will retain account access until 5 January 2026 to allow withdrawals. After this, logins will be disabled and remaining balances only retrievable by contacting customer support.

Lake Ozark backs two casinos Operator News
Te Board of Aldermen has endorsed an Osage Nation plan for a casino and hotel on 27 acres at Bagnell Dam Boulevard and Osage Beach Parkway, Missouri, US, alongside a second proposal from private investors for a casino near the Osage River. Te Osage Nation project includes a casino, hotel, sports bar, restaurant and meeting space, with construction contingent on federal approval to place the land into trust. Te Nation will contribute 2.5 per cent of casino adjusted gross revenue, a one per cent hotel resort fee, and $100,000 annually for police services, in addition to standard utility payments. Te development will be built in phases, with the first
stage delivering the main casino, hotel rooms and core amenities once approval from the U.S. Department of the Interior is secured.
