San Francisco, CA — SEMICON West, to be held July 11-13 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, will be focused heavily on the future as powered by microelectronics- enabled technologies. The convention connects the entire extended supply chain from materials, equipment, design, manufacturing, system inte- gration, and demand channels to
new verticals and adjacencies, such as flexible hybrid electronics, MEMS and sensors, and more. With the assistance of virtual
reality (VR) and artificial intelli- gence (AI), visitors will experience advanced technologies and applica- tions including smart auto, smart manufacturing, smart medtech, and IoT. The SEMI/Gartner symposium
Design Automation Conference Announces Keynotes and SKY Talks
Austin, TX — Design Automation Conference (DAC), a conference devoted to the design and automa- tion of electronic systems, offers training, education, exhibits, and networking opportunities for hard- ware designers, re searchers, soft- ware developers, and tool vendors. The conference and exhibition will be held from June 18-22 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, TX. Keynotes at DAC will take

include presentations entitled “IoT: Tales from the Front Line” by Jo Costello, CEO of Enlightened, Inc., “The Rise of the Digital Twin” by Chuck Grindstaff, executive chair- man, Siemens PLM Software, “Acceler ating the IoT” by Tyson Tuttle, CEO of Silicon Laboratories,
and “Emotion Technology, Wear - ables and Surprises” by Rosalind Picard of MIT. DAC is recognized as a premier
event for the design of electronic cir- cuits and systems, and for electronic design automation (EDA) and silicon solutions. A diverse worldwide com- munity of more than 1,000 organiza- tions attends each year, represented by system designers and architects, logic and circuit designers, valida- tion engineers, CAD managers, sen- ior managers, and executives, as well as researchers and academics from leading universities. Nearly 60 technical sessions
selected by a committee of electronic design experts offer information on recent developments and trends, management practices, new prod- ucts, methodologies, and technolo- gies. A highlight of DAC is its exhibi- tion and suite area, with approxi-
