ON GOLD Skin and surface hygiene specialist, GOJO Industries-Europe, has been awarded a Silver Medal by EcoVadis. This accolade acknowledges GOJO as a growing leader in sustainability, with its score placing it in the top 25% of businesses evaluated by EcoVadis worldwide.


Ecovadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings with a global network of more than 85,000 rated companies. Built on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000, its methodology assesses how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability/CSR into their business and management systems.


It examines 21 different indicators in four themes: Environment; Social/Human Rights; Ethics; and Responsible Purchasing. GOJO


14FORTY WINS MULTI- MILLION POUND DEAL WITH


HEINEKEN UK Facilities management provider 14forty, which is part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has secured a five-year FM contract with Heineken UK.


The agreement, which commenced on 31st January, sees 14forty providing a number of soft services including catering, cleaning, security, grounds maintenance, pest control as well as other services at Heineken UK’s head office and brewery in Edinburgh, breweries in Tadcaster and


performed strongly in all categories, but achieved a particularly high score under ‘Environment’.

A silver medal in our very first assessment is a fantastic achievement, but we have our sights set higher – we’re going for gold! Over the next year, we will be implementing more measures to increase our score and achieve even greater sustainability going forward.”


This is the second sustainability accreditation GOJO has received

14forty will take on over 100 staff, some of whom will be new starters, with others transferring over to 14forty from the incumbent FM provider, as part of the contract.


During the tender process, 14forty’s senior personnel visited Heineken UK sites to deeply understand the current challenges and establish where it could bring about innovative enhancements. 14forty formulated these ideas into a comprehensive pitch, which according to Heineken
