THE PRESSURE TO CLEAN ECONOMICALLY

Kärcher explains how harnessing the power of water, dry ice, or steam can dramatically improve hygiene, cleanliness and safety with minimal user effort.

Commercial cleaning solutions have to stand up to the rigours of constant use. Whether used to clean vehicles, machinery, floors – or an altogether more unusual task – it’s important the machine and options you choose are going to deliver the best result for you and your circumstances.

There’s only one right size - yours: With such a wide range of machine solutions available, from 9 to 3,000 bar, powered by electricity, petrol or diesel, matching a machine to your needs can unlock new levels of productivity, while options to lease or hire on demand can help control cash flow, whilst still providing the reassurance of full maintenance and service support.

The original – only better: Pressure washers are a cleaning staple for businesses of all sizes owing to their versatility and ability to remove virtually all types of dirt. Whilst in principle all pressure washers are constructed in a similar way, in real- life when you’re using them day in day out, seemingly small differences in convenience of operation and ergonomics can make a big difference to operator efficiency. Karcher’s new EASY!Force trigger gun completely reinvents the feel of operation banishing fatigue even over long periods of use. By using the recoil of the water jet to automatically press the trigger into the hand, zero trigger holding force is required thus preventing hand and finger strain or muscle cramps.

Task specific solutions: With time and cost at a premium, professionals need cleaning solutions which deliver results first time around whilst cutting the amount of energy, water and cleaning chemicals used. HDC centralised high pressure cleaners can dramatically reduce costs compared to using several mobile machines around a factory. Water is fed at high-

pressure from the centralised unit, passing through permanently installed pipe-work to each take off point in the system. This means the performance and flexibility of mobile pressure washers can be employed wherever a take-off point is located, without the hassle of transportation and setup. Choose number of users, operating pressures and water flow rates – from 3 to 12 simultaneous operators, 80 or 160 bar pressure, and 700 to 1000l per hour per lance.

Using the right accessories can have a major impact on productivity, costs and time too. Simple devices such as washing brushes and Dirt Blaster power nozzles can really improve performance. The innovative FRV 30 hard surface cleaner attaches to a pressure washer to clean indoor and outdoor floors and walls quickly and thoroughly. Providing rapid, uniform results it automatically pumps cleaning water away – meaning that the object being cleaned dries more quickly. If you need to wash down equipment, an FRV can also remove waste water after pressure washing, not only improving hygiene but

preventing slip and trip risks from a wet or contaminated floor.

Cold water machines provide high- impact cleaning with a high flow rate to flush away dirt and rinse quickly. Easy to transport between jobs, they take up little storage space and are quick to set up. Kärcher’s updated HD Compact cold water pressure washers provide better mobility, easier handling, and more practicality than ever before. The models feature a distinctive design that incorporates a carry handle, enabling the machine to be conveniently carried like a suitcase. Kärcher’s design means the machines can now also be operated in a lie-flat position, giving extra stability and safety, while the new hose storage system ensures the high pressure
