FLAWLESS Of course, cleaning up spills is not always possible with a wipe, no matter how strong and absorbent it may be. Chicopee’s Microfibre Mops are designed for use in any environment, including industrial premises.
Staff often have to use reams of tissue or thick string mops to clean up spillages. Wet mopped floors can take up to 10 minutes to dry fully, increasing the risk of accidental slips and falls. Traditional string mops also require frequent laundering and can use a large amount of both water and chemicals.
By contrast, Chicopee’s Microfibre Mopping system can deal with spills quickly and efficiently. The mops are attached swiftly to the light and easy to use mopping tool, enabling the user to reach even the most difficult to access spaces. For heavily soiled areas, the cleaner can simply pull a lever on the tool which releases more cleaning fluid as it is needed.
Using patented microfibre technology, the mops lock in dirt, grease and grime, reducing the risk of cross- contamination, while remaining durable and absorbent. The mops are designed for short-term use, so once a mop is filled with dirt, it is simply removed and thrown away.
The Microfibre Floor Mop Super in particular is ideal for cleaning industrial premises, and can clean up to 25m² before it dries out – significantly more than most disposable mops. The Super’s unique absorbent core can soak up large amounts of liquid while attached to the mopping tool, which removes the need for the user to bend down to wipe the floor by hand.
