Launch of Three New FluoroSep™ HPLC Packing Materials for Diffi cult Separations
ES Industries is launching three new FluoroSep™ HPLC packing materials, available in either bulk or packed columns, the new standard for diffi cult separations and purifi cations.
“Having listened to the concerns of separation scientists with diffi cult separations, we wanted to create a solution that was selective, rugged, and reproducible for separations that are not obtained easily using traditional C8 and C18 phases,” said David Kohler, President. “ES Industries and FluoroSep are well known and respected chromatography brands, and we felt the time was right to extend our offering to provide our customers with a complete selectivity palette for HPLC Separations.”

FluoroSep™ is offered in bulk with particle sizes from 1.8 to 20 micron and in packed columns from capillary to preparative. The three new FluoroSep phases are: FluoroSep HILIC, a Fluorinated Diol Phase with unique retention and separation of highly polar halogenated compounds; FluoroSep RP-XP, a Fluorophenyl phase with a perfl uoroalkyl chain attached for the separation and retention of alkyl and aromatic halogenated compounds including isomers; FluoroSep RP-XF, an Alkyl perfl uorinated phase with perfl uorinated end-capping designed for the separation of halogenated/ non-halogenated molecules.

The cost of a LC-MS dwarves the cost of a nitrogen generator, yet it is this that can cause problems if not chosen wisely. Nitrogen generators which incorporate a compressor in the same box look neat but have higher running costs, more replacement parts and longer downtimes. New Range of Autosamplers from Ellutia

Liquid Autosamplers
The EL3100 is an entry-level 15 sample liquid autosampler, ideal for labs analysing fewer samples. The EL3000 is a compact 121-position autosampler with a full
colour touch screen interface for ease of use. The EL3200 is a top of the range 209-position autosampler with all the features of the EL3000 autosampler as well as automatic syringe identifi cation, and sample barcode reading.
Headspace Autosamplers
