Perthshire Constabulary and Perth City Special Constable. The first being a good quality example in die-stamped white metal and features the full coat of Arms, two long lug fasteners suggests use on the helmet (JCGp171). The second again in die-stamped white metal is the brassard, showing the Imperial crown over a large oval, ‘Special Constable’ (JCGp169), good condition (2)

Renfrew County Police Constable’s Waist Belt Clasp. A good quality example in heavy gauge white metal based on the Army’s 1855 other ranks pattern. The Prince of Wales’s Badge in the centre with ‘Renfrew County Police’ on the circle. This example is cut from the original black patent leather belt so is complete with the side brackets (JCGp177), some service wear to the central badge, otherwise good condition

County of Renfrew Special Constable Insignia. A very fine quality unmarked silver coloured metal example, the Prince of Wales’s Badge over a decorated circle, ‘County Of Renfrew Special Constable’ in the centre the Royal Crest for George V, pin back and numbered ‘178’ (JCGp177). Another pattern as per (JCGplate7/16) 3.5cm circular with ‘S.C’ on a domed gilt ground, ‘Special Constable’ in gilt on a blue enamel ground, pin back, the anchor point missing. Thirdly, a small chromed and enamelled lapel badge as per (JCGplate7/17), Imperial crown, town Arms ‘S’ ‘C’. Number 341. Together with a white metal button of the Renfrew County Police, a damaged Prince of Wales’s white metal badge and a white metal Imperial crown, good condition apart from where stated (6)

Rothesay Burgh Police First Aid Badge, Burgh of Paisley Special Constable’s Badge and Wigtownshire Special Constables Badge. The first as per (JCGplate7/21) triple enamels on a gilt metal base, complete with sewing loops, the second as per (JCGplate7/3) double enamels on base metal, pin back, the third as per (JCGplate8/11) double enamels on a silvered ground, lapel type fastener, numbered ’60’, good condition (3)

Roxburgh County Constabulary. A rare die-stamped white metal bastion shaped collar badge, ‘RC’ within the double border and ’82’ within the circular section, three lug fasteners. A later collar badge in chromed metal being script ‘RC’ two lug fasteners (JCGp182/183), good condition (2)

Stirling Burgh Police. A die-cast white metal cap badge, the Imperial crown over a strap, ‘Sterlini Oppidum’ enclosing a wolf couchant on cliffs overlooking the sea, two lug fasteners (JCGp188). Together with two early period collar badges in die-stamped silver plate, worn by several forces, of circular outline (31mm), the double roped circles enclose ’13’ and ’27’, each with two lug fasteners (JCGp192 for type), good condition (3)
