Alexander Phee, a native of Airdrie, Lanarkshire, served with the Royal Navy during the Second World War as an Ordinary Signalman, and was killed in action during an enemy air raid on Algiers on 24 November 1942. He is buried in Dely Ibrahim War Cemetery, Algeria.
