Thank You UCA-NI
On behalf of the UCA-NI Board, I would like to thank Profile Publishing for organising another excellent event. The 13th annual Pharmacy in Focus Awards was a wonderful evening of great food, great company and celebration. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event.
This event is the only occasion in Northern Ireland where community and primary care pharmacists, suppliers and guests, can come together to network and recognise their achievements during the year. It was a great success and very positive feedback was received from everyone who attended. A huge thank you goes to our award category and event sponsors – without your support the event could simply not happen. UCA-NI is committed to supporting and representing community and primary care pharmacy in Northern Ireland and we will continue to celebrate good business and professional practice and customer service through the Pharmacy in Focus Awards, in partnership with Profile Publishing. Along with our publications - Pharmacy in Focus magazine and diary - UCA-NI and Profile offer the only communications platform dedicated to pharmacy in Northern Ireland, and we thank you for your continued support.
Last - but certainly not least – congratulations to all the winners and
finalists shortlisted in each category. We are delighted to be able to recognise your hard work and determination in providing high quality pharmacy services to their communities. It amazes us every year just how dedicated pharmacists and pharmacies are – that’s why the standard of the entries is so good. so, keep up the excellent work and I look forward to seeing you all again next year!
Peter Rice, Chairman, UCA-NI Ltd Profile
The Pharmacy in Focus Awards have been another resounding success. Year upon year, we continue to be utterly amazed at the quality and high standards of the applications that we receive for these prestigious awards – applications that reflect the terrific work being done on a daily basis in community pharmacies across the province.
While we are grateful for the feedback that we have received since the event – feedback that has been totally positive and congratulatory across the board – we are always mindful of the fact that this event would not be possible in any way without the support of our sponsors and the partnership with UCA-NI. Our long standing partnership, built on trust and integrity goes from strength to strength.
each year, as we begin to plan this event, we are constantly taken aback – not to mention delighted! – at the support that’s offered by companies who want to be part of the success. That shows the esteem in which both community pharmacy and the Pharmacy in Focus Awards are held by businesses across Northern Ireland and beyond.
Our thanks to everyone, who has supported this event over the past thirteen years. There are lots of good news stories and many positives and we hope to continue to share these both on stage and in Pharmacy and Focus news pages.
Another partnership we are excited to be working on is the delivery of the UCA-NI Pharmacy Conference and this is set to take place on saturday 29th March. To register to attend visit
www.pharmacyinfocus.com and we thank you in advance for your support.
