Solihull Solihull Chamber Patrons

Chamber in sponsorship deal with Solihull Moors

Solihull Chamber of Commerce has pledged further support for local football club Solihull Moors, who are pushing for promotion to the English Football League. The Chamber has agreed to sponsor the

Moor’s 2007 members club for this season. The suite has been renamed the Solihull Chamber of Commerce 2007 Club and will provide a ‘semi-formal, affordable VIP experience’ for its members on match days. The suite was formally opened at the Moor's SportNation.bet ground last month at a Chamber-hosted speaker breakfast event featuring guest Charlie Fogarty. Charlie was the club’s first disability manager

and became the youngest ever recipients of the MBE at 21 years of age. The award was made to him for services to young people in the Midlands. Charlie is the son of the club’s former sporting

director, Mark Fogarty, and as a teenager was a promising player at the Blues academy. However, his career was cut short by a devastating car

accident, which nearly killed him and left him with debilitating injuries. With his football career over, Charlie not only

founded the Moors’ disability team, but travels around the country giving motivational speeches at football academies. Those present at the opening included Solihull

Chamber president Robert Elliot, Solihull mayor Stuart Davis, Solihull Moors director Paul Rivers and Chamber chief executive Paul Faulkner. Chairman Darryl Eales said: “We want to put

the club at the heart of the Solihull community and the support of the Chamber is a fantastic endorsement of this. The club will be active members of the Chamber and look forward to the partnership growing over the years to come.” Individual memberships for the Solihull

Chamber of Commerce 2007 Club is priced at £625 + VAT which includes both league and cup games. Solihull Chamber of Commerce 2007 Club will also be offered on a match-by-match basis at £36.00 + VAT per person (subject to availability).
