Indico is a restaurant with a difference – not only does it showcase North Indian street food, it also has an original style to its interior, which is meant to be a reflection of Indian heritage. More specifically, the walls are covered in
graffiti by 13 artists, and the result is a riot of colour. There are also dozens of watering cans and umbrellas suspended from the ceiling of the restaurant, which is owned by Faheem Badur.
Menu description Lunch The lunch menu, offered by head chef Deepak Kumar, includes a wide selection of authentic Indian street food starters, or chaats, as well as curries, tandoori dishes, kathi rolls, thalis and desserts, alongside which is a non-alcoholic beverage and cocktail menu with an Indian twist. All dishes and marinades are freshly prepared to order by the team chefs. Indian street food chaats are the perfect
option for lunch, with diners invited to sample two or three per person. For those with not much time to spare, there
is the ‘Curry in a Hurry’ option, and there are always various special lunch offers, such as Kolkata kathi rolls, burgers and more.
Dinner Indico’s dinner menu offers authentic Indian curries, thalis and tandoori grill delicacies. Each of Indico’s dishes is cooked in the
traditional Indian style, which takes diners on a mouth-watering journey across the sub- continent. Among the desserts are fresh gulab jamun or
kulfi and a classic Indian chai. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are
all available. On the drinks side, there is a wide selection of white, rosé and red wines and Prosecco, and the restaurant also has an extensive gin collection.
Business facilities The restaurant is business-friendly and offers various set menus and quick lunch deals, such as the ‘Curry in a Hurry’ offer.
Other facilities Private dining facilities on the upper floor are also available on request, and have been used to host many private events and parties.
Exclusive offer for Chamber members Indico has an exclusive offer of 20 per cent off the bill for Chamber members. This is available from Tuesday to Friday from
12pm to 5pm and valid for eating in or collection until 31 October, but not in conjunction with other offers.
To redeem this, diners should quote #IndicoChamberSpecial to a member of staff.
