the Border Collie of Border Collies when it came to smarts, often amazing his humans with an ability to reason and make correct decisions. Truman will be missed. Truman, however, will never be forgotten. Rain Dog reigns.” Mick Elliott and Desanya Daly, Safety Harbor
Pistol Pete, 4/19: “My heart is broken. A part of me is gone forever. A part of you will live forever inside of me. Run free, my sweet boy.” Connie Johnson, Tampa
Mona, 4/19: “Tonight, we lost our best friend. She was the smartest, sweetest, best dog we have ever known. We were lucky to call this baby family for almost 12 years.” Nikki DeBartolo, Tampa

Bubba, 2/19: “Yesterday, we said good-bye to Aubrey’s First Best Friend, Bubba. This was one of the most difficult euthanasias that I have ever done, and I have been doing this for 20 years now. Bubba was the best. He was so patient and gentle with Aubrey and all of the animals. We feel he was truly a gift from God, specifically for Aubrey. He walked up to our doorstep seven-plus years ago. We weren’t looking for a fourth dog, especially with a six month old baby. We did everything to find his owner to no avail. He fit in with our family perfectly, and quickly became Aubrey’s best friend. He taught Aubrey so much. Even after going blind two years ago, he still loved to play and go for walks. He was the perfect, most playful and loving dog a little boy could ask for. He will be deeply missed.” Dr. Shawna Green, Madeira Beach
Charlie Boy, 3/18: “He was and is the inspiration behind Pup Active. Charlie, you were and still are a teacher. I miss you everyday. You brought so much good to this world.” Lara Warn, St. Petersburg
