Angela Ardolino & Odie One of our trusted go-to experts on CBD for pets, Angela spent two years searching for ethical, safe hemp farmers in Colorado. Her passion for animals, families and healing naturally is the fuel for everything she does. Angela helps clear up some misconcep- tions on CBD on page 78.
Mary Collister, Bailey & Birdie A retired certified arborist, Mary is comfortable using a professional dog trainer, clinical behaviorist from UF’s College of Veterinary Medicine and a pet psychic to understand her rescue dogs. She introduces us to the Community Pet Project on page 34.
COLEEN ELLIS & ALBERT As a leader in the United States in pet death care, Coleen knows the need for pet parents to have an outlet to mourn, memorialize and celebrate the life they shared with a beloved pet. She writes about pet bereavement policies and practices that more compa- nies are starting to offer their employees. Page 80.
KIM LANGEVIN & JACK She competes in various canine sports with Jack. Her work as a photographer at canine sports events like Agility, Dock Diving and Retrieving in field and stream is well-known among enthusiasts. Kim’s work is show- cased in Game of Throws, a feature on Dock Diving and Frizgility sports, beginning on page 20.
LON MARTIN & GUINNESS With Lon as his muse, Guinness continues to tug at our heart strings as he’s done for the last 10 years in The New Barker. As an homage to The New York Times Tiny Love Stories, we challenged Lon and Guinness to write a love story in 100 words. Tiny Nub Story is their tribute to Pepa on page 100.
HEATHER SCHULMAN & PUCK This team turned heads, recently, at the Global Pet Expo trade show. Industry pro- fessionals recognized her social media skills for The New Barker. Heather has also covered and photographed events, as well as written features for us for 10 years.

DEBRA STARR & JIPSEE As the marketing and PR direc- tor for Animal Network, Debra volunteers her time to help the county maintain its goal of being a sustainable no kill community. She also volunteers at Manatee County Animal Services and takes us behind the scenes of the medical clinic on page 32.
ANNEYARBROUGH & RUDEE She has a BFA in Photography from the University of Georgia, and counts lifestyle photography as one of her specialities. Anne’s images are charming and thoughtful with a sense of humor daring you to smile. Her work is featured on page 28.
