teachers at St. John School of the Arts after donating new musical instruments. He talked to them about life after Hurricane Irma. It was an emotional day for everyone. “Just to see the look on their faces when you give them a guitar or a steel drum,” Chesney said. “You never know what one of those guitars will do for someone. I know what one guitar did for me.” Love for Love City Foundation continues to provide
money, supplies and support to the British and US Virgin Islands. Partnering with various national, international and corporate entities, the foundation recognizes the process is ongoing; not just weeks or months, but years to come and Chesney is committed for the long haul. fan even more so now, was able to finally meet him after his April 2018 concert in Tampa. “We were given backstage passes after the show and were in line with other pass holders,” recalled Connie. “Jill saw us and security knew who we were. They escorted us to the end of the line so that we would be the last ones to meet with Kenny.” When she finally reached Kenny, he looked at her and
said, “Connie?” then, he embraced her. “Thank you,” he said. As if she needed another reason to love this person and his music.
