THE NEXT GENERATION IN MEDICAL

AESTHETICS AND SERVICES Cosmedica Beauty has fast become one of the Island’s most successful aesthetic clinics. Now with new treatments, medical expertise and the growth of medical services, Cosmedica is introducing Cosmedica Clinics, the next generation of private medical service and aesthetics for the Isle of Wight

S

et within a discreet luxury first floor suite, in Ryde, with a relaxed ambience, Cosmedica Clinics operates with a doctor and nurse

partnership, ensuring it is well placed to provide the expertise and professionalism that is so important in medical and aesthetic treatments.

A finalist for ‘Best clinic in the South of England’ in a prestigious national publication, Cosmedica Clinics is recognised as a high quality, elite centre of medical aesthetic treatment. This reflects the respect it has achieved among the aesthetic professional community.

It is important to choose your practitioner carefully when considering aesthetic treatment. Cosmedica Clinics’ medical director, Dr Kieron Cooney, is a Cambridge graduate GP with a Fellowship from the Royal College of GPs. With so much concern regarding poorly qualified, or non-medically trained aesthetic practitioners, Dr Kieron has ensured excellent credentials, qualified with a distinction in a Masters MSc degree in Aesthetic Medicine from Queen Mary’s

University, London and is an associate member of the British Association of Cosmetic Medicine. Dr Kieron maintains his NHS GP role, and has achieved his additional credentials as a bona fide trained aesthetic practitioner for your peace of mind.

Associate clinic director and advance nurse specialist, Vicky Cooney, has been nursing for 30 years and maintains her role as ANP within her NHS practice. She provides clients with reassuring and informative consultations with her professional relaxed approach. She will guide you through the complex process of assessment and explanation of the variety of treatments available to you.

Clinical support assistant, Emily Ward, provides some of the clinic’s specialised treatments and has developed her skills as clinical assistant healthcare practitioner.

The past five years have seen the clinic develop new treatments and services, while the ethos of the clinic remains to ‘Provide expert advice and evidence-based treatments with safety and quality’.

Cosmedica Clinics also provides a convenient and affordable private option for a variety of medical services, which are not often readily available through your NHS doctor. These include:

• Fostering medicals (with prior arrangement with local council).

• Blood tests.

• Woman’s health including Bio identical HRT.

• Men’s health, including prostate assessment.

• Lifestyle advice, including cholesterol testing and heart disease risk assessment.

• Joint injections and minor surgery procedures.

• DVLA medicals, including for a taxi and HGV licence.
