ALBERT COTTAGE HOTEL

Fairytale wedding venue, Albert Cottage in East Cowes, was once home to a real princess.

Now a ten-bedroom boutique hotel, licensed to hold weddings and civil ceremonies, this historic building, built in the 1840s, has been inhabited by many interesting figures - most famously, in the early 1900s, Princess Beatrice, daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.

Secluded, private, and nestled in the former grounds of Osborne House - this is the perfect venue for dining, drinks and staying over.

Ceremonies can be held in a choice of four rooms or outside in a stunning marquee, which can be decorated to suit any colour scheme and is the ideal place to enjoy your wedding in the sunshine.

Indoor ceremonies are simply stunning, with elegant décor. Enjoy reception drinks and canapés on the lawn, followed by a delicious wedding breakfast.

There is an excellent range of menu choices, as well as the chance to put your own ideas across, to really tailor the event to you. The Consort Restaurant can cater for up to 90 people, or for larger parties, a marquee

on the lawn provides space for 150.

The beautiful grounds are perfect for a drink with family and friends in your first moments as husband and wife - and the house and lawn also have many stunning photo opportunities.

Their individually styled bedrooms - all with en-suite facilities - are a wonderful place to relax and revive before or after your event.

Let their expert team and dedicated wedding planners help you create a bespoke day to remember.

The hotel is licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships.

The majority of their wedding parties now book the whole hotel exclusively - guaranteeing all the accommodation, including free Bridal Suite, and with the hotel and its grounds closed to all other guests - making it relaxed, fun and intimate.

Whether you’re planning a large, lavish wedding or a smaller celebration for just close family and friends, their experts will help you make your special day one to treasure forever.

The hotel is close to mainland ferry links - with lots of free parking available.
