On Friday 29 June, two organisations re-
ceived a much welcomed cheque from Youghal Credit Union. Don Sheehan accept- ed a cheque on behalf of Youghal Tennis Club, which has been in opera- tion for well over a century. With a strong family and social traditions, they cater for all ages and standards and hold many internal club competitions, club nights, coaching and social activities
throughout the
year. The sponsorship by Youghal Credit Union will go towards funding these events. Liam

received a cheque on be- half of Youghal GAA Golf Classic which was recently played at Youghal Golf Club and told us on Monday, how Youghal GAA were delighted to see their very own Bill Copper on the winning Munster Champions team on Sun- day last.

Wave and Wind Adventure for Youghal Foróige Hot Spot Cafe

for Youghal Foróige Hot Spot Cafe is being held on Sunday, 4 July from 10am – 4pm at Pilmore beach. New windsurfing centre, Gecko Adventures, is giv- ing everyone the opportu- nity to try out windsurfing for free. Donation boxes will be on site for anyone to make a donation. All wet- suits and equipment will be provided, and booking in for this event is not re- quired - just bring a towel and sense
of adventure.
