Art in the Wilds 2018
TAKE A ROAD TRIP, Bring Home a Memory
by PA Route 6 It’s summer. Time to pack up the car and take a road
trip. PA’s Route 6 is your chance to take the high road and travel the road that the National Geographic called one of the most scenic drives in America! And half the fun of a great road trip is what you will find along the way. The PA Route 6 Artisan Trail provides you with many opportu- nities to discover the creativity of northern Pennsylvania. The Artisan Trail is a network of artists & artisans, gal-
leries, shops and organizations that stretches all across northern Pennsylvania. From Erie and Conneaut Lake at the Ohio border in the west to Milford near the bank of the Delaware River, the Artisan Trail connects you with the makers and their creative work across northern Pennsyl- vania. Our northern Pennsylvania region has a history of cre-
ative work. Our rural heritage includes quilting and other fiber arts practiced in the home, woodworking sourced from our strong hardwood forests, and commercial glass and ceramic productions. These skills now translate into wonderful works of art by our artisans. The landscapes of our region also inspires painters, printmakers and sculp- tors. We are proud to show off our creative work! When you are in the area for the Art in the Wilds Fine
Art and Craft show there are many nearby spots in the Wilds region to enhance your creative weekend. From Corry to Coudersport creative venues on or near PA Route 6 offer a variety of artistic attractions. First of all, of course, is the Art in the Wilds show held annually during the 4th weekend of June in Kane PA. Kane
