Throughout


the course of my life, I experi- mented with a variety of materi- als searching for my artistic voice. Several years ago, I discovered beadwork and re-


alized almost immediately that my passion is working with beads. I am fascinated with all the color choices, the finishes,


and the variety of shapes that are available to work with whether they are glass beads or gemstone beads. My fa- vorite beads are the small glass seed beads and the cyl- inder beads known as delicas. I love them as they can be worked flat or used to create three-dimensional pieces. I explore a variety of techniques, which allows me to cre- ate wearable pieces of art. My inspiration for color and themes is found in the beauty of our natural surround- ings. As l continue to experiment and explore with each
