Nottingham developer has Blueprint for success
Nottingham-based property developer Blueprint is celebrating after taking home the prestigious Developer of the Year Award at the East Midlands Property Dinner 2017. Headquartered in the city’s Creative Quarter, on St
Mary’s Gate, Blueprint was recognised for its contribution and visual impact across the East Midlands at the Insider Awards, which were held at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel. Blueprint’s entry celebrated the work of the
developer, which specialises in creating sustainable homes and workspaces, including its standout project Trent Basin – a new sustainable community on the banks of the River Trent which marks the first phase of regeneration for Nottingham Waterside, a 250-acre site just over a mile from the city centre.

crowned ‘Developer of the Year’ is a fantastic achievement for the whole Blueprint team. The past 12 months have been pivotal for us as we introduced innovative renewable energy technology at Trent Basin as well as selling nearly all the homes in Phase One. “We are also starting to take interest for Phase Two
of our custom-build development in Sneinton, The Fruit Market.”
Auction house on awards shortlist
Auctioneer, John Pye Auctions, has been named as a finalist in the Asset Valuer/Auctioneer of the Year category at the Turnaround, Restructuring and Insolvency (TRI) Awards 2017. John Pye Auctions was a runner
up in 2014 and has since gone on to win the accolade for the past two years and hopes to once again take top honours at the awards, which will take place in London this month. The TRI Awards, independently judged by a panel of leading
industry professionals, celebrate distinguished leaders who demonstrate excellent practice and outcomes in turnaround, corporate restructuring and insolvency across the country. Multi-award-winning John Pye
Auctions, the UK’s largest independent auction house of its kind, is the first valuer and auctioneer to have won the Asset Valuer/Auctioneer of the Year Award two years in a row and has now been shortlisted for the third time.

Nottingham among world’s top universities
The University of Nottingham features among the best in the world in the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings – the definitive list of the top 1,000 universities from 77 countries. The league table shows that
Nottingham has maintained its position of 147th place, appearing among the world’s elite institutions. Nottingham climbs one place to 21st in the UK, moving up a rank from 22nd last year. Nottingham’s consistent result
is a reflection of the ground- breaking research, student and academic talent, and world-class teaching it continues to deliver.
