Top rewards for region’s directors


Dr Nik Kotecha, Chief Executive Officer of Morningside Pharmaceuticals, has been named as the Institute of Directors (IoD) East Midlands Director of the Year. Managing Director of Purpose Media, Matt Wheatcroft, is also celebrating


after being named the IoD’s East Midlands Young Director of the Year. Praised by the judges for his vision of making quality healthcare an


affordable and accessible reality throughout the world, Nik not only won the overall award, but also the Corporate Responsibility and Large Company categories in the regional competition. He was presented with the Director of the Year Award by Mike Carr, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Nottingham Trent University. Matt was praised by the judges, who were impressed by his


“straightforward approach to business which is all about delivering value to customers and proving that by showing them tangible results”. The annual IoD awards celebrate the achievements of the region’s most hardworking and innovative business leaders.
