YEAR 8

A WORD (OR 2 ) FROM MISS CHESTERS We say it every year but it really has flown by, I can’t believe it was 2 years ago that the Class of 2022 first spent time as a year group at Matravers on their induction day and that they are now about to enter the giddy heights of Year 9! There has been a tremendous amount of success and development both academic and personal across the year group. Our students take pride in their achievements and enjoy being rewarded and celebrated in the end of term assemblies. Once again the Easter assembly was packed full of certificates, awards and prizes and I have no doubt the summer finale will be too. It has been a pleasure to be part of their experience.

On the following pages each tutor gives a little insight into their tutor groups.

I wish all of you (students, parents, teachers and tutors) a safe and relaxing summer break and look forward to hearing what you have all been up to in September.
