LV Shipping’s Great Yarmouth facility has been ideally placed to assist various operations in many of the recent windfarm developments.


VARIED ASSISTANCE


The company has assisted many different vessels on the project, from cable laying, dive support, offshore supply, jack-up barges, tugs, anchor handlers and transfer boats – all bringing their own challenges. They have also chartered various vessels, including a cargo vessel to carry 60m long pipes from the client’s quayside facility, to meet a dive support vessel at a different port – this included a survey of the client’s

SHERINGHAM SHOAL CASE STUDY The LV Shipping Great Yarmouth office has covered various agency related activities at multiple stages of the Sheringham Shoal wind farm construction, by acting as ships agents for various contractors.


The company’s professional approach and trusted suppliers ensure requirements are met accordingly reducing time vessels are in port. Their supply of transfer vessels also eliminated the need for port calls completely by offering stores and crew transfers at sea.

The company has recently assisted DeepOcean in completing maintenance works on the Sheringham Shoal wind farm using their vessels Rem Forza & Havila Phoenix (both dive support vessels); with several port calls for each vessel and the hire of transfer vessels to perform tasks whilst at sea.
